1. Toilets (and all the other nice plumbing stuff!)
Mr. Eco-Nazi (Chris) has been talking about dual flush toilets for sometime now. To increase the happiness factor of my new home, we're getting one of these eco conscious porcelain gods! I'll have a product link to one soon, but for now I can tell you the toilet offers a #1 button and a #2 button :)
2. Windows
We added a regular window to the breakfast room. Who doesn't like light in the morning? We also might add a window in the guest bath, but we've gotta see how it fits into the overall cost :)
3. Clap on! Clap Off!
Not really, but we picked out electrical today! We're being conservative with the recessed, and there's no track lighting ;) We also had to pick out switch location, etc...Lots of fun choices!
4. Best News of the Day!
Came when Carol told us that the kind of granite we want for our counter tops is going to be a standard choice! Chris literally did a YES! with a big upper cut arm movement! (And asked for it in writing later; apparently his momma didn't raise a fool)
